Flora and Vegetation specialist studies to be included in the SASOL’s Area A EIA’s Addendum

This addendum was prepared by Biodinâmica’ specialized team on Flora and vegetation

Having completed the analysis of seismic data, Sasol Petroleum Mozambique Exploration Limitad (SPME) intended to make drilling of a well of research and testing to determine if the hydrocarbons contained in the underground geological structures, were in commercially viable quantities.

This addendum to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the A area of SASOL, was related to improving the characterization of flora and vegetation that had been made earlier in the same EIA conducted in 2012 at the drilling site, including infrastructure associated with the operations.

Biodinâmica was hired by Impact, to carry out the addendum to that EIA, with special contribution in the study of flora and vegetation, in order to enforce the SPME with the environmental requirements of Mozambique.
