During the weeks of November the 30th and December the 7th Biodinâmica participated in a WWF workshop and an international conference in Pemba and workshop about Oil & Gas and conference on renewable energies in Maputo.
Between November the 30th and December the 3rd, Biodinâmica participated in Pemba in the WWF Workshop “Adapting to climate change: Stakeholders Workshop & PNQ Development Project”. With about 40 participants, the workshop was aimed at:
– Identify and prioritize the vulnerabilities of ecosystems and livelihoods in PNQ to climate change
– Identify and prioritize intervention measures for adapting to climate change
Biodinâmica is preparing the final report of this workshop.
After a brief participation in Pemba first international conference on the value chains of gas, graphite and land held in Pemba, Biodinâmica was present in Maputo in two other events.
On the 8th December Biodinâmica participated in the Dutch Roundtable Oil & Gas East Africa held at the Hotel Polana in Maputo, which was attended by dozens of participants who worked on various topics related to the Oil & Gas industry in Mozambique.
Still on the 8th and 9th December, Biodinâmica participated at the conference “Prospects for Development of Renewable Energy in Mozambique: Opportunities and Challenges” organized by ALER in partnership with several institutions. In addition to several presentations on the subject, a study was presented on the state of renewable energy in Mozambique, which was developed by GreenLight one of Biodinâmica partners.
