The Nacional Administration of Conservation Areas already has a website

The platform created allows all those interested in wildlife and tourism in conservation areas to get information on parks, reserves and wilderness.

It was yesterday, August 16, 2017, that the website of the National Administration of Conservation Areas (Administração Nacional das Áreas de Conservação – ANAC), which is responsible for managing about 25% of the national territory corresponding to the conservation areas, became public. The platform created allows all those interested in wildlife and tourism in conservation areas to get information on parks, reserves and wilderness.

The launch of the website aims to create interaction and sharing of information with partners and the general public, so questions and suggestions can be made about the conservation activities that the institution has been carrying out in the country. It will be possible to find on the website information about the route to get to the parks and national reserves, activities to practice, main attractions, as well as information of tourist usefulness for those who want to visit the country for the first time.

It is important to note that launching this platform is a major step in involving the general public in actions to protect and conserve biodiversity. Environmental awareness and the importance of the natural resources needed for socio-economic and sustainable development for a more conscious future for the next generations is undoubtedly the best way forward.
